CJC-1295 is a modified fragment of growth hormone releasing hormone, engineered to survive in the bloodstream far longer than the natural version. It is the standard partner to ipamorelin, on the logic that one compound raises the signal and the other amplifies the pulse.
What people take it for
Lean muscle, fat loss, recovery and sleep. It sits at the centre of most growth hormone peptide protocols sold online.
What the evidence shows
Published human work confirms it does what it says mechanically. A study in healthy adults showed sustained increases in growth hormone and IGF-1 for several days after a single dose, which is a real and measurable effect.
What has never been shown is that this produces the outcomes people want. No completed trial demonstrates changes in muscle, fat or ageing markers. Development did not continue to that stage.
What to know before
The naming is worth getting right. "CJC-1295 with DAC" includes a modification that keeps it active for days. "CJC-1295 without DAC" is a different molecule that clears in about half an hour, and is more accurately called modified GRF 1-29. They are sold under the same name at similar prices.
Sustained growth hormone elevation is not automatically desirable. It raises blood sugar, causes fluid retention, and is one of the reasons growth hormone itself is a controlled prescription medicine rather than a supplement.
